Xuan Qiu, MD/PhD, is a highly skilled, board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training and board certification in the Surgery of the Hand. With an extensive education and training background, Dr. Qiu is a trusted expert in her field.
Dr. Qiu completed her undergraduate education Cum Laude from Yale University. She obtained her combined MD and PhD degrees from the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She finished a five-year residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Then she completed her Hand Surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan. She is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery for both Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand Subspecialty.

As an educator, Dr. Qiu served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery for four years at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University during her previous appointment at Northwell Health, where she shared her knowledge and expertise to aspiring medical professionals, fostering the advancement of orthopaedics.
